# User

In this documentation, a **User** is a person or digital entity (such as a bot or Artificial Intelligence) that has access to [**Web2**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/web2.md) services or applications, and/or has a private key of a blockchain-address, can sign transactions on the blockchain, and interact with [**Web3**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/web3.md) services and decentralized applications
