# Internal Record

To implement [**Web2 functionality**](/sputnik-app/web2-functionality.md), [**Sputnik App**](/sputnik-app.md) records information about usernames, emails, [**Internal Addresses**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/internal-address.md) of users, as well as attached [**Personal Addresses**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/personal-address.md) in the **Internal Record** 

[**Sputnik App**](/sputnik-app.md) creates an [**Internal Address**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/internal-address.md) for the [**User**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/user.md) and records data into the **Internal Record**, which associates the username, email or attached [**Personal Addresses**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/personal-address.md) with the user's [**Internal Address**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/internal-address.md)

**Internal Record** is stored in the [**Sputnik Network App-chain** ](/sputnik-network-app-chain.md)

[**Sputnik App**](/sputnik-app.md) accesses the **Internal Record** every time: 

* The [**User**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/user.md) connects to [**Sputnik App**](/sputnik-app.md) using Telegram, Twitter, Discord or email 
* The [**User**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/user.md) links a Telegram, Twitter, Discord usernames, email, or [**Personal Addresses**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/personal-address.md) 
* The [**User**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/user.md) sends tokens or NFTs by username or email, or by a list of usernames and/or emails
