# Receive on Personal Address

To receive tokens or NFTs that were sent by username or email to a [**Personal Address**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/personal-address.md), and not to an [**Internal Address**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/internal-address.md) - the [**User**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/user.md) must link own [**Personal Address**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/personal-address.md) in the [**Personal Account**](/sputnik-app/personal-account.md) so that [**Sputnik App**](/sputnik-app.md) makes changes into the [**Internal Record**](/sputnik-app/web2-functionality/internal-record.md) 

When someone sends tokens or NFTs by username or email, [**Sputnik App**](/sputnik-app.md) will go to the [**Internal Record**](/sputnik-app/web2-functionality/internal-record.md), see that the username or email is associated with the user's [**Personal Address**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/personal-address.md), and send the tokens or NFTs to the user's [**Personal Address**](/glossary-of-terms-and-scheme/personal-address.md)
